Equinox
Somewhere along Nehalem Road on the way to the beach, a family of sheep and their lambs ruminate on grass and leaves. Like a scene from a Gerda Muller book, daffodils abound and more than one house is making repairs after a long winter. The early signs of bud and blossom appear as the earth begins her rebirth. As if on cue, the sea air has shifted, a softer breath lightening longer days.
