Whaling Expedition

Legend has it that Captain Clark (of the Lewis & Clark team) came across 3 gray whale skeletons when he arrived at what is now called Long Beach, WA. Today, a relatively newer whale spine marks the spot. Violet just turned 3, but it’s never too early to start learning about spinal anatomy, whether human or cetacean.
